Hunter joined MontPIRG in 2016 after working for civically-minded non-profits throughout his collegiate and professional career, helping to protect access to Montana’s outdoors, fighting voter suppression efforts, and advocating for increased higher-education funding. Hunter was born and raised in Eastern Montana and attended the University of Montana where he studied political science from 2011 to 2015.

Carl Anderson

Bozeman Campus Organizer

I grew up in the little town of Forsyth in eastern Montana and spent some time in Billings before moving to Bozeman in 2011. My background is in biochemistry and psychology. The issues which are most important to me are the environment, social justice, and the places which they intersect. My biggest reason for joining the MontPIRG team was the inspiring individuals whom I have met through the organization.
